Dept of Labour: Artisans Apprenticeships 2018 / 2019 for UIF Beneficiaries
Department of Labour is recruiting UIF beneficiaries for apprenticeship 2018 / 2019. Applicants must be unemployed and should have contributed to the UNEMPLOYED INSURANCE FUND (UIF) in the previous employment.

- Electrical
- Welding
- Fitting and Turning
- Fitting (Inclduing Machining)
- Instrumentation
- Boiler maker
- Plater / Welder
- Millwright
- Motor & Diesel Mechanic
- Automotive Electrician
- Riger / Ropesman
- Panel Beating
- Spray Painting
Minimum Entry Requirements
A full grade 12 qualification with English, Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy, Physical / Engineering Science, relevant trade theory and an additional relevant technical subject – all passed or;
A full N2 – N6 Certificate (Mathematics, Engineering Science, relevant Trade Theory and an additional relevant technical subject (evidence of English on atleast Grade 12) – all passed minimum 50 % or;
A full NVC Level 3 or a Technical Learnership NQF Level 3 with technical subjects.
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- A completed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with contactable number.
- A certified copy of all qualification and RSA ID document.
- Proof of previous employment (e.g employer recommendation letter, payslip, etc)
